smells like dirt

I didn't realize until I got to the end of the exhibit (& saw the water bottles) that the holes in the bottom of these plexi greenhouses were for your hands and not your head.

Good thing for kids following the lead of adults..I wasn't the only one!

fiberglass Animals

I love giant Fiberglass sculpture. I just wonder where did the call for them come?

It's clearly a chicken or egg situation.

Did someone just take the chance make some animals & giant people sculptures & wish for the best? Or did some one say, "Hey, I wish I had a giant chicken/horse/gorilla"

Was it miniature golf? But then, where did those giant lumberjacks come from.

weird, indeed.

Just a little side note, Giant "people" were sold to businesses in the 60's for $300.

This horse is looking out a vet's office. The office building is purple.

awesome dude

You might be wondering right about now, "where do I meet such an awesome man?" Well, look no further. If ya know where i work...check it out. Otherwise, you're what they call s.o.l.

He went to the lil' boys room, returned 10 minutes later with a dynamite pair of shades and wanted to know how to get back to the boardwalk...hence the atlantic city hat.

yes, sad but true, I believe he had a bit 'o thee ol' dementia.  Hey, at least he was still goin' strong, could be worse.

xoxo, I love you mister atlantic city!

Baltimore is beautiful and I plan on eating lots of crabs & taking pictures of pink houses this summer.  I love it- John Waters Land of oddities.

my OM-1

I was thinking about the first pictures I took with my first manual 35mm camera, an old Olympus OM1, given to me by my step-dad.

I have had this camera since I was 15 years old, that's 18 years now. Over the years I would pull it out and each time I would call my dad and ask him about aperture and shutter speed. I loved the magic of trying to make a picture.

This is from the first roll of film I shot it's a photo of my high school friend Matt Kirscht.
He's a brilliant & successful self-taught painter.

Check out his link on my page.
